DMC reboot: Dante Junior

OK. This is just my little feedback idea about Devil May Cry reboot, nothing official from Ninja Theory.

If Ninja Theory wants to have a little easier time with fans regarding their newest project Devil May Cry reboot (I mean without many fans having pre-disliking before the game is actually released), perhaps they can try this:

Once, Dante the Son of Sparda saved a girl from demons. They had sex. Girl left. 9 months and came Dante Junior. He's a cigar smoking emo.

Fans will most likely say: "What? Dante has an emo son? I've got to see this, I wanna know if he's as bad-ass than his father.."

Well, at least it's better than WTF response, right? haha

So this punk Dante is not that Dante on Devil may Cry 4 and previous series. The emo kid is actually a son of the great Dante whom he barely knows. He's a punk, he smokes cigar, and he has his own adventure. In that way, I guess no fans would have any way to protest that.

If I were a dev who fundamentally change a protagonist that fans are already worshiping,  I'll worry about how the game gonna sell. Perhaps a little trick is needed to make loyal fans have more interest on the coming game and the sale will more likely to go closer to expectation. Game's new concept develops well, fans goes curious about this new adventure of DMC series without any protest or pre-dislike. Everyone wins.

In this DMC case, may be, just may be, a single word "Junior" is all that it takes.
